US Navy warns Air Gaps can be defeated with acoustics

The US Navy is concerned that Air Gaps or computer networks that are not connected to outside networks can be penetrated using high frequency sound waves which are often not perceptible to human hearing.  These sound waves can be generated using a computers built in speakers and microphones.

More interesting is that old world interfaces are being considered as a possible defense against an acoustic attack.
