Ann Arbor Michigan could be Driverless by 2021
The University of Michigan’s UMTRI is paving the way for the City of Ann Arbor and into Southeastern Michigan (which is basically Metro Detroit) to have driverless vehicles by 2021.
There will be a $6.5 million investment into a simulated cityscape to help with research to be completed by the fall of 2014. Essentially creating a fleet of driverless drone vehicles for the Motor City.
