Mech Suits to augment human strength

 

Defense contractors and health services companies are looking to create mech suit’s that will augment human strength. There are three big markets for these suits, medical, military, and corporate. The big push is currently with the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research, Development, and Engineering Center, The Army is planning a demonstration of their HULC device in May.  Future refinements include being able to easily wear under a uniform.

Parker Hannifin is looking to launch its Indego exoskeleton next year the target price is just under $70,000 which is a bargain if you can use it to regain movement if you have been injured.
